The art of giving --- is simply the pouring...
That sometimes when it gets really dark and we are desperate to hold on to some light...
The art of waiting --- isn't it about allowing the waiting to make you, letting the tango of tension to mould you, and sorting your heart so solitude can find you?
That which fills you, that's what will lift you, or leave you, and leak out of you...
Like it or not, if our heart desires to serve the great call of God in our lives, then we're called to lead and liberate others into their greatness in God.
Fear can so cripple us, but may I just take you with me to see what God say about your tomorrow, and how it might affect your today?
When we believe in people for who they presently are, and invest in people in who they can potentially be --- we make imprints, change lives, carve history, and sustain a ministry that outlasts natural lives.
Every call in life; whether in the creche, or in the classroom or in the courtroom is always a call to plumb the depth of the Father's love for us.
So it's been a busy year... The clock keeps ticking, and your calendar keeps filling up. The work comes right up piling, and these kids, they're growing taller by the day. And yeah, for every sticky relationship that requires pruning, you feel like your heart could be shredded into a million pieces. So here we are --- rounding up the first full term of school, finishing up the first quarter of a brand new year, gearing up for the joyful time away ahead, and Kathy Troccoli—- she’s singing this song, beckoning me to pause and praise, inviting me to stop and drink, comforting me to trust and rest. I want… Continue reading The Dance of Trust
When we both stumbled into the church's kitchen that Sunday morning, both hunting for that caffeine fix, I knew that there were simply gonna be days just like this... Days when you feel like tearing your hair apart. Days that make you wanna stop whatever you're doing and change lane, even midway. Days that are short though they feel so long.… Continue reading how to sing your soul large when everything seems so small, so out of tune
So when the preacher talked about the importance of meditating on the Word of God today, I closed my eyes and squeezed my palms tight and tried to take it all in, my husband thinking that I had dozed off during a Sunday morning service. "Meditating on the word of God" he said, "is revolutionary. It will give… Continue reading The One Habit that Will Make You Happy as A Family
